The Victoria Thompson Scholarship
is in memory of Victoria Thompson who lived for exactly nine months and needed palliative care as result of a rare disease.
We are Victoria’s parents, Sharon and Brian Thompson.
- Victoria’s devoted family and community could not find enough qualified specialised nurses to care for Victoria at home.
- This scholarship aims to help nurses (and others) to train and become advocates for children’s palliative care in Ireland.
We wish to thank NUIG for linking Victoria’s scholarship to the first of its kind – Masters/Postgrad in complex care and children’s palliative care.
